How TidewiseLife began
Sylvia and Erik met inside a major corporation in 2019, long enough to learn that good people find each other eventually. Years later, their paths crossed again, and what began as professional became personal: real conversations, weekly calls, and a moment of crisis where Erik simply picked up the phone—no hesitation, no invoice, just presence. That moment planted the seed. And when their professional paths parted in 2025, one conversation crystallized everything—the question nobody had ever asked them:
What kind of life do you want to live?
That question became TidewiseLife.
What TidewiseLife means
The tide doesn't ask permission. It moves in accordance with forces deeper than ambition:
natural rhythms, ancient patterns, the quiet intelligence of flow.
Tidewise means learning to read those rhythms in your own life.
Accepting the ebb as willingly as the flow.
Finding contentment not in accumulation, but in alignment.
Not in status, but in purpose.
It means asking — and answering honestly — what kind of life you want to live.
And then building it. Patiently. Intentionally. One tide at a time.
